Pure Creative Arts offer lessons and workshops that cover a variety of topics including;
With particular focus on issues surrounding identity, image and pressure, Pure creates a safe place where students can explore sensitive subjects and express their own opinions and feelings in a non-threatening environment.
Lessons also cover leading a healthy lifestyle, by looking at eating disorders and the ways our lifestyles can be unhealthy. This topic can be further explored with the theatre production, 'Mirror Mirror' which looks at one girl's struggle of living with anorexia. Further to this, Pure Creative Arts can provide sex education lessons through the theatre production, 'Hold Me', which delves into the issues and pressure around sex. As well as this, One of Pure's team members is a trained nurse who specializes in infectious diseases and can offer advice and information on sexual health and related issues.
As Christians, Pure Creative Arts can offer Religious Education lessons which cover a number of themes outlined in the key stage 3 and 4. For more information of the specific areas we cover in both religious education and PHSE syllabus, please refer to our School Packs.
