Launched in February 2009, ‘Vicky’s Secret’ tackles the issue of abortion and pregnancy crisis with both humour and sensitivity.
Teenage pregnancy is a prevalent issue among today’s youth and abortion is often hidden as young people do not know where they can go for advice and someone to talk to.
'Vicky's Secret' creates the opportunity for young people to explore the issue and the choices that accompany it as they see how Vicky’s choices effect both her life and the lives of those around her. The production and follow up workshop equips young people with knowledge and facts to enable them to make informed choices about sex and pregnancy in a safe and non-judgemental environment.
