Team profiles

Tamsin Evans, Director

Tamsin holds a 1st Class BA Hons degree in Performing Arts from LIPA. Tamsin has over four years experinece pioneering and leading the team and brings clear vision and direction, constant ideas, and a strong foundation of belief with the qualities needed to see the dreams actually happen. Tamsin also has a strong ability to draw other people to be part of the vision she has, and to encourage, equip and release them into realising their own dreams and potential.

Rebecca Boyd, Project Manager

Rebecca holds a 2:1 BA Hons degree in Education from Lancaster University. Rebecca has several years of experience working within school and youth settings, and over three years experience managing our creative arts school. Rebecca is full of ideas and vision for the projects she manages, and has strong initiative to ensure that this vision is carried out to a high standard. Rebecca has an eye for detail, which brings excellence to all she delivers.

Abi Barnsley, Events Manager

Abi holds a 2:1 BA Hons degree in Drama and Performance studies from Worcester University. An excellent performer and trained photographer, Abi's ability to bring quality and new ideas to the performance team has led her into the role of Events Manager.

Abbie Hosier, Health Promotions Officer

Abbie holds a 2:2 degree in Nursing from Liverpool University. With several years of nursing experience in the area of infectious diseases, Abbie brings medical knowledge and experience to the work that Pure does, especially around sexual health.

Joy Farrington, Performance Coordinator

Joy originally joined the team as a Performance Facilitator, and has recently taken on the role of Performance Coordinator, bringing her experience of delivering workshops and devising productions within the Performance team and continuing to combine her love for performance and youth work.

Naomi Workman, Performance Facilitator

Naomi is currently finishing her second year of a Psychology degree at the University of Liverpool and is interested in a career in drama/arts therapy. She has extensive experience in both performing and teaching dance, drama and music. Naomi is part of the performance team where she brings excellence and enthusiasm to everthing she is involved in.

 

Chrissy Hitchiner, Performance Facilitator

Chrissie holds a 2:2 BA Hons degree in Youth and Community Development Work. Chrissy brings experience and expertise in youth work to the team, and a fresh perspective that is challenging. Chrissy is part of the performance team and is an excellent performer.

Katherine Anderson, Production Designer

After leaving school Kathrine joined Pure Creative Arts as part of the performance team to further her ambition of being a production designer. She currently fulfills the artistic needs of each department including stage design and story boarding. She brings a love of creativity and hopes to continue improving and learning through her experience with Pure.

Busy Thomas, Media Developer

Busy is currently in her third year at Liverpool Hope University studying Media. Through her degree she has gained a range of experinece from creatong story boards, to filiming and editing. Busy brings quality and a professional edge to the media side of Pure's work.

 

Catherine Ravens, Creative Arts School Team

Catherine holds a 2:1 degree in Sports science and physical education from York St John University. Catherine also holds a FIFA Football coaching Level 1 and a NVQ Level 2 Gym Instructor. Catherine brings the ability to coach and teach sport to a high level, with knowledge on how to have a healthy lifestyle to the work of Pure. having developed a whole new programme that looks at how to enable young people to incorporate a healthy lifestyle into their everyday lives. Catherine is now teaching children and young people through the Creative Arts School.
